Distance Covered:

Started off with my 5.7m and big (90ltr) board... Maxed out with that and flying along. After about an hour of that I came in for a rest and as the wind seemed to have filled in a little more I rigged my 5m and little wave board and went back out on that... Once again, I was maxed out the whole time and had as good a session as you can get. Always well powered up and flying out through the surf. Some nice big jumps and some really good gybes on the wave faces out the back, followed by the odd wave ride on the way back in. Things did get pretty hectic now and then I I did contemplate changing down to my 4.5m, but decided to just hang on and hope for the best.

Richard and Daz were out with 5m sails as well and everyone was having a good time. There were a few spells when I was ridiculously overpowered, but most of it was just perfect maxed out conditions in pretty lumpy seas.... I love it.

My back did hurt a little before I went out, but the windsurfing didn't seem to make it any worse.
